Welcome to La Finca Del Sur.

We are a community led South Bronx urban farm. Our mission is to empower our neighborhood & youth by offering organic food access, farming education, and intentional programming that encourages us to eat, live and approach life in more sustainable ways.

La Finca del Sur, (meaning Farm of the South) is an intergenerational cross-cultural collective of farmers. We wish to engage the community through valuable farm education and free family friendly public programming for local South Bronx residents. Our space offers access for all abilities & ages, with newly renovated wheelchair accessible pathways throughout the farm.

We welcome you to book a tour, join us on volunteer workdays & enjoy our community events!  We believe that farming creates a groundswell of positive effects on our community and facilitates discussion and action on social, economic and wellness issues in The Bronx.
